Recipe for 4 servings
Salad:
- 1 lettuce
- 1 bunch radishes
- 2 bell peppers
- 4 snack cucumbers
- ½ bunch of mint
- 1 green onion
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 bunches of parsley
Sauce:
- 1.5 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1.5 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
- 3 teaspoons sumac
Bread:
Mix olive oil with zaatar and then spread olive oil-zaatar mixture on pita bread.
Preparation:
1. Cut lettuce into strips. Thinly slice the radishes and peppers (to help the sauce stick). Roughly slice the cucumbers and green onion. Roughly chop the mint and parsley. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half. Put all the ingredients in a bowl.
2. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Put olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt and sumac in a bowl and mix.
3. Mix olive oil with zaatar and spread mixture on a pita bread. Bake in oven at 200°C top and bottom heat for about 5 min until golden brown.
4. Pour the salad dressing on the salad and mix well with your hands. Season the salad with the pomegranate sauce and pour the toasted bread generously over the salad.
